Cloud Application Developer

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Application Developer to lead modernization and transformation initiatives across complex enterprise environments. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in cloud-native architectures, application development, and modernization of legacy systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, modernize, and implement cloud-native applications leveraging modern development methodologies.
• Conduct application performance profiling and tuning to ensure optimal scalability and reliability.
• Apply architectural design patterns and drive adoption of platform engineering best practices such as Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), automation, and image/repository management.
• Lead virtualization and container deployments using technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, or similar platforms.
• Ensure application security and compliance across the full development lifecycle.
• Collaborate and engage effectively with technical teams, business stakeholders, and executive leadership to align modernization initiatives with business goals.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience in cloud-native application architecture and modernization.
• Strong understanding of platform engineering, including automation, IaC, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands-on expertise with containerization, virtualization, and networking.
• Familiarity with application security frameworks and cloud governance principles.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience interacting with C-level stakeholders.
• Prior experience in multi-cloud or hybrid-cloud environments preferred.

Additional Information:

• Locations: UAE (Dubai), Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait
• Flexibility to travel across project locations as required
