Job Summary

SCCI Qatar is looking for a highly skilled and innovative Cloud Architect (AWS/Azure/GCP) to join our IT & Digital Transformation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing secure, scalable, and high-performing cloud infrastructure solutions that support the company’s digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud architecture solutions using AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Develop cloud migration strategies for enterprise applications and infrastructure.
• Ensure cloud environments are secure, scalable, reliable, and cost-efficient.
• Collaborate with IT teams, developers, and business stakeholders to support digital transformation projects.
• Monitor cloud performance, optimize resources, and manage cloud costs effectively.
• Implement cloud security best practices, governance, and compliance standards.
• Automate cloud infrastructure deployment using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
• Support disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity planning.
• Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure and network issues.
• Stay updated on emerging cloud technologies, trends, and industry best practices.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to IT and engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture, cloud engineering, or IT infrastructure roles.
• Strong expertise in AWS, Microsoft Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience with cloud migration, virtualization, networking, and enterprise infrastructure.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates).
• Familiarity with DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, containers, and Kubernetes is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of cloud security, identity management, and compliance standards.
• Relevant cloud certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Architect, or Google Professional Cloud Architect are preferred.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
