West Monroe is excited to hire a Cloud Engineer for our growing Enterprise Technology team within our Technology & Experience Practice!

We’re looking for a technologist with keen business acumen to help solve some of our clients’ most complex problems, leveraging public cloud services, automation, and other cutting-edge infrastructure tools. Responsibilities:

  • Work within a team of technology consultants to design, build, and implement public cloud & IT infrastructure solutions
  • Execute migration plans and approaches to implement or improving cloud technology services, on-premises systems and/or data networks
  • Use Infrastructure-as-Code, scripting, and other tools to define public cloud deployments
  • Partner with architects, engagement leads, and other consultants to present solution roadmaps to client executives and communicate project status updates
  • Leverage both external & internal trainings to improve technical skills, learn new technologies, and develop leadership skills

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field preferred, or equivalent experience required
  • Consulting firm/industry experience preferred
  • 1-4+ years of public cloud technology (AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud) implementation experience (required), and/or Windows/Linux, server virtualization, data networking
  • Experience using infrastructure-as-code toolsets (Terraform, Azure DevOps, etc.), deploy cloud environments, and scripting tools (PowerShell, Python, etc.)
  • Proficient verbal, presentation/facilitation, and written communication skills
  • Hybrid role: 2x per week in office
  • Travel when needed to client sites (30 to 50%)

Based on pay transparency guidelines, the salary range for this role can vary based on your proximity to one of our West Monroe offices (see table below). Individual salaries are determined by evaluating a variety of factors including geography, experience, skills, education, and internal equity.

Employees (and their families) are covered by medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are able to enroll in our company’s 401k plan, purchase shares from our employee stock ownership program and be eligible to receive annual bonuses. Employees will also receive unlimited flexible time off and ten paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Eligibility for ten weeks of paid parental leave will also be available upon hire date.
