Cloud Security Engineer / Security Architect

SCOPE: Design and implement secure cloud architectures supporting federal security compliance and Zero Trust initiatives.

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Experience securing AWS, Azure, or GovCloud environments.
• Knowledge of cloud architecture and security frameworks.
• Familiarity with Zero Trust architecture concepts.
• Experience with cloud security architecture design
• Experience with encryption and identity management (ICAM)
• Experience with security monitoring and logging
• Experience with boundary protection and network architecture
• Experience supporting FedRAMP or federal cloud security assessments is highly desirable.

PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS

• Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP)
• AWS Security Specialty
• Azure Security Engineer
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)

TASKS

• Design secure architectures for cloud and hybrid systems.
• Implement cloud security controls aligned with NIST, FedRAMP, and federal security policies.
• Conduct architecture reviews and security assessments
• Support secure configuration management and cloud compliance efforts.
• Assist with RMF security control implementation in cloud environments.
• Implement security features such as:
• encryption
• identity and access management (ICAM)
• logging and monitoring
• network boundary protections

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour
