The Global Customer Success (GCS) organization, an organization within CE&S, is leading the effort to enable customer success on the Microsoft Cloud by harnessing leading, AI-powered capabilities and human expertise to deliver innovation solutions that accelerate business value, drive operational excellence and nurture long term loyalty.
The AI Security CSA role is designed to help customers secure their AI and cloud environments while driving adoption of Microsoft security solutions. The purpose and impact areas include:
1. Role Vision & Purpose
- Protect Cloud AI Platforms and Applications: The primary goal is to safeguard AI workloads and multi-cloud environments by leveraging Microsoft Defender for Cloud and related security solutions.
- Enable Zero Trust Architecture: Guide customers in implementing Zero Trust principles across their AI and cloud ecosystems.
- Drive Security ACR and Usage: Focus on accelerating consumption of E5 security capabilities, XDR, and other advanced security products.
2. Key Responsibilities
- Enterprise Security Assessments (ESA): Ensure customers undergo ESA to plan secure adoption of AI and cloud services.
- Commit-to-Close Execution: Work closely with STU partners to close security opportunities and deliver enhanced services.
- Incident Response Support: Provide expertise in threat investigation, digital forensics, and attacker containment when needed.
- Compliance & Governance: Help customers meet regulatory and governance requirements for AI workloads.
3. Skills & Competencies
- Security Product Expertise: Deep knowledge of Microsoft security stack (Defender, Sentinel, Entra, etc.).
- Consultative & Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to engage with C-level stakeholders and translate security needs into actionable solutions.
- Technical Intensity: Proficiency in modern SecOps, KQL, and AI security best practices.
4. Impact on Customers
- Secure Migrations: Enable secure migration of workloads to Azure and multi-cloud environments.
- Enhanced Services Delivery: Support customers in achieving security milestones and mitigating risks in AI adoption.
- Feedback Loop: Provide product feedback to improve Microsoft security offerings.
