Cloud Solutions Architect

Job Description
– Cloud Solutions Architect the Cloud Solutions Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing secure, scalable, and cost-efficient cloud and hybrid cloud solutions. This role focuses on enabling business transformation through cloud strategy, infrastructure automation, security best practices, and seamless integration between on-premises and cloud environments.

_ Key Responsibilities: _

Cloud Architecture & Strategy

• Design and implement cloud architectures for diverse workloads, including new deployments, migrations, and optimizations.

• Define cloud strategy aligned with business objectives, scalability, performance, and cost efficiency.

• Lead the adoption of hybrid cloud models integrating on-premise infrastructure with public/private cloud platforms. Infrastructure Automation & Operations

• Automate cloud infrastructure provisioning and management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, ARM Templates, or CloudFormation.

• Establish standards and best practices for cloud deployments and operational excellence.

• Ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of cloud services. Security & Compliance

• Implement cloud security best practices, including identity and access management (IAM), network security, and data protection.

• Ensure compliance with organizational security policies and industry standards.

• Conduct regular security reviews and risk assessments of cloud environments. Cost Optimization & Performance

• Monitor cloud usage and implement cost optimization strategies to maximize ROI.

• Design resource-efficient architectures while maintaining performance and scalability.

• Provide recommendations on capacity planning and cost forecasting. Monitoring, DR & Support

• Establish monitoring, logging, backup, and disaster recovery strategies.

• Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure issues and provide continuous improvements.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support application and business needs.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in cloud architecture, cloud operations, and hybrid cloud environments.

• Proven experience in designing and managing enterprise-grade cloud solutions.

Technical Skills

• Strong expertise in cloud platforms and hybrid cloud architectures.

• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

• Solid understanding of networking, cloud security, and IAM.

• Experience with monitoring, logging, and disaster recovery solutions.

Certifications (Preferred)

• HCIP – Cloud Computing

• Fortinet Network Security Expert (NSE Level 2 or higher) Soft Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
