As a CloudOps Support Engineer you'll support for AWS cloud infrastructure and platform services.
Shift: Anytime Between 7-7 CST (40 hrs a week)
Location: Remote USA
Mandatory: Healthcare Software IT, HIPAA, DevOps and SRE practices, CloudOps (AWS), Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Monitoring, Security, Automation, and other Cloud Operations related technologies
Duties:
- Provide L2 and L3 support for AWS cloud infrastructure and platform services
- Support CloudOps activities during the 7 AM 7 PM Central US time support window
- Act as a module-level technical owner for cloud environments, ensuring availability and reliability
- Manage incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive solutions
- Proactively identify and implement automation to reduce manual operational effort
- Design and implement QA and infrastructure validation automation, especially during lean periods
- Drive delivery value through ticket reduction, operational efficiency, cost optimization, and process improvements
- Ensure compliance with healthcare security, privacy, and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with application teams, security, QA, and onshore stakeholders
- Support cloud releases, environment provisioning, and post-deployment validations
- Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices, documentation, and continuous improvement
