The Clubhouse Maintenance person is responsible for maintaining proper operating conditions for the facilities. The Clubhouse Maintenance person is also responsible for ensuring that the clubhouse building is in good structural and physical condition.
Qualifications

Thorough knowledge of building maintenance and procedures as would normally be acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent education, plus two or three additional college-level courses of study or trades training, or equivalent years of experience in progressively responsible positions.

Knowledge of pool chemical health and safety standards preferred

Two to three years of previous experience in a similar role.
Responsibilities / Duties

Perform continued preventative maintenance of all HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and kitchen

Provide support in maintaining proper pool chemical levels at select sites, following club-specific safety requirements

Respond to maintenance/repair requests in a timely manner.

Obtain bids on all major repairs, maintenance contracts, or capital projects and submit to the General Manager for approval.

Assist in ensuring the building meets health and safety regulations, could include checking fire safety equipment.

Assist in ensuring the building meets health and safety regulations, including checking fire safety equipment.

Assist in ensuring compliance with cleanliness standards of the clubhouse, entrance, and parking lot.

Assist the Facilities Superintendent with development of the annual operating budget and capital budget and perform within established operating guidelines.

Establish and maintain security guidelines and assist in training and enforcement of security procedures related to alarm systems, fire systems, and safety communications.

Possess good communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills.

Perform special projects or other duties as assigned.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, kneel, use hands to handle or feel, and talk or hear. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, depth perception, color vision, distance and peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
