Cluster Director of Sales

Role Overview

The Cluster Director of Sales is a senior commercial leader responsible for driving revenue performance and market positioning across two luxury serviced apartment properties in Dubai. This role requires a highly strategic and hands-on approach to managing diverse market segments within a competitive hospitality landscape, including corporate, long stay, leisure, and MICE business.

Operating across Cheval Maison Expo City Dubai and Cheval Maison The Palm, the position demands a deep understanding of Dubai's dynamic market, strong local and international client networks, and the ability to adapt strategies to the distinct positioning of each property. The Cluster Director of Sales will lead a multi-property sales structure, ensuring alignment with brand standards while maximizing profitability, occupancy, and average rate performance.

Key Responsibilities Strategic Planning & Revenue Growth
  • Develop and implement cluster-wide sales strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor performance, and demand patterns to identify opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Revenue Management to optimize pricing, inventory, and distribution strategies.
  • Establish annual budgets, sales targets, and forecasts for each property within the cluster.
Sales Leadership & Team Management
  • Lead, mentor, and develop property-based sales teams to achieve performance targets.
  • Set clear KPIs and monitor team productivity and effectiveness.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and coaching sessions.
  • Foster a high-performance, results-driven sales culture.
Client & Account Management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, corporate clients, travel agencies, and partners.
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities across all market segments.
  • Represent the cluster at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions.
Operational Excellence
  • Ensure consistent sales processes and reporting standards across all properties.
  • Oversee contract negotiations and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Coordinate with Marketing for campaigns, promotions, and brand positioning.
Collaboration & Cross-Functional Alignment
  • Work closely with General Manager, Revenue, Marketing, and Operations teams.
  • Align sales initiatives with overall business strategy and guest experience goals.
Qualifications & Requirements Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field
  • Master's degree is an advantage
Experience
  • Minimum 5 years of sales leadership experience in hospitality or related industry
  • Proven experience managing multi-property or cluster sales operations
  • Strong track record of achieving revenue targets
