The
Cluster Sales Manager – Groups
is responsible for driving revenue growth across all cluster hotels by proactively sourcing, negotiating, and securing group, meetings, incentives, conferences, and events business from both local and international markets. The role focuses on developing strong, long-term client relationships with DMCs, event organizers, corporate accounts, and travel agencies, ensuring business is effectively converted and seamlessly executed across properties.
The position requires a strategic sales professional who can identify new business opportunities, analyze market trends, and deliver high standards of service excellence while maintaining compliance with company policies and UAE hospitality regulations.
Sales & Business Development

Proactively solicit, develop, and manage groups business for all cluster hotels from key market segments including DMCs, event companies, travel agents, and corporate accounts.

Develop and implement strategies to achieve revenue targets and increase market share across assigned segments.

Conduct sales calls, virtual meetings, client presentations, and site inspections to promote hotel facilities and packages.

Prepare detailed and professional proposals, quotations, and contracts that address client requirements and align with hotel policies.

Participate in trade exhibitions, roadshows, and networking events to promote the cluster hotels and generate new leads.

Collaborate with the Director of Sales and other departments to ensure a unified sales approach across the cluster.

Identify and pursue opportunities for repeat and referral business through strategic account management and client retention initiatives.
Building Successful Relationships that Generate Sales Opportunities

Build and strengthen relationships with existing and potential clients to ensure continued business and future bookings.

Work collaboratively with off-property sales channels, global sales offices, and sister properties to ensure a cohesive and non-duplicative sales effort.

Develop professional networks within the local and regional hospitality community to expand the client base.

Maintain strong partnerships with key internal and external stakeholders, including operations, revenue management, and marketing teams.

Ensure accurate, complete, and timely turnover of confirmed business to the event management and operations teams for smooth service delivery.
Managing Sales Activities

Execute and support all sales activities in line with the cluster’s commercial strategy.

Participate in joint sales calls and client meetings with team members to acquire new business or close existing leads.

Manage client communications, including proposal follow-ups, contract negotiations, and post-event feedback.

Ensure all sales documentation, contracts, and agreements are completed in compliance with company policies and UAE commercial law.

Handle all operational aspects of confirmed business, including correspondence, coordination with departments, and ensuring deadlines are met.

Maintain strict confidentiality of client information, financial details, and proprietary data in compliance with company standards and UAE data protection regulations.
Using Market Knowledge and Target Customer Insights to Maximize Revenue

Analyze market trends, competitor performance, and client feedback to identify opportunities for growth.

Maintain a thorough understanding of the UAE hospitality market, including competitor strengths, economic shifts, and evolving customer preferences.

Utilize data-driven insights to forecast demand, adjust pricing strategies, and optimize room and event profitability.

Target high-value accounts and industry segments with tailored sales strategies to secure group business.

Ensure all revenue-generating opportunities are maximized through effective negotiation and upselling techniques.

Leverage knowledge of client industries to offer customized business solutions that enhance value and satisfaction.
Providing Exceptional Guest Service

Represent the brand and uphold the highest standards of professionalism and service excellence in all client interactions.

Deliver personalized customer service before, during, and after each event, ensuring client needs are anticipated and fulfilled.

Support the company’s service and relationship strategy to drive customer loyalty and repeat business.

Conduct post-event follow-ups and evaluations to measure satisfaction, gather feedback, and identify improvement areas.

Serve as a positive role model, demonstrating the company’s values and guest engagement principles at all times.

Address and resolve client concerns promptly to maintain a high level of satisfaction and reputation.
Reporting & Productivity

Prepare, analyze, and present accurate sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to management.

Track and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and sales targets set by the Cluster Director of Sales.

Maintain updated records of client communications, sales activities, and business leads in the CRM system.

Participate in regular sales meetings, cluster reviews, and strategic planning sessions to align departmental goals.

Ensure timely submission of all sales documentation, including contracts, reports, and client feedback summaries.
Compliance, Confidentiality, and Professional Conduct

Adhere to all company and departmental policies and procedures, ensuring full compliance with UAE labour laws, and DCT regulations.

Maintain confidentiality of all client data, contracts, and internal records in line with company data protection standards.

Uphold ethical business practices, professionalism, and brand integrity in all dealings.

Ensure all sales activities align with the hotels’ sustainability, health, and safety standards.
Additional Responsibilities

Represent the cluster hotels at official functions, client events, and industry gatherings as required.

Provide coaching and guidance to junior sales associates to support team development.

Collaborate with marketing and revenue teams to create impactful campaigns and sales materials.

Perform any other duties or projects as assigned by the Cluster Director of Sales to meet business needs.
What are we looking for

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or Hospitality Management.

Minimum 3–5 years of progressive experience in a
Groups - Sales role
within a five-star hotel in the UAE.

Strong understanding of UAE market dynamics, including DMC networks, travel agencies, and corporate event planners.

Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets and revenue goals.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills in English (knowledge of Arabic or Russian is an advantage).

Proficiency in Opera PMS, EMMA, Microsoft Office, and CRM systems.
