As a Contract Manufacturing Welder at EZG Manufacturing, you’ll play a key role in fabricating and assembling diverse range of metal structures and components for a variety of manufacturing projects. We're looking for detail-oriented, safety-minded individuals who are passionate about their craft and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
What You’ll Do:
- Perform various welding tasks, including MIG and TIG welding, according to project specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and welding processes.
- Fabricate, weld, and assemble metal parts with precision.
- Measure and cut materials accurately to ensure proper fit and assembly.
- Operate welding equipment safely and efficiently.
- Perform quality checks to ensure finished products meet standards.
- Set up, troubleshoot, and adjust machines to maintain consistent production.
- Maintain a high level of productivity by staying proactive, engaged, and focused on daily workflow.
- Follow all safety and manufacturing protocols.
- Other duties or special projects as assigned.
What We’re Looking For:
- 5 years of welding and fabrication experience; welding certification preferred.
- Experience welding in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Ability to read tape measures, blueprints, and welding symbols.
- Skilled at working with a variety of materials, structures, and fabrication requirements.
- Strong attention to detail, quality, and craftsmanship.
- Ability to quickly and repeatedly adjust machine controls with precision.
- Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control techniques, and safety procedures.
- Critical thinking and decision-making skills.
- Ability to visualize and work with parts in different configurations.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a commitment to continuous improvement.
