All responsibilities and standards shall be performed according to established policies, procedures, and guidelines for UrgentCare2go:
- Competently assists providers to maximize patient volume, administers medications, performs diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and returns patient calls in a timely manner.
- Ensures effective patient communication and efficient patient flow. Documents patient care accurately and timely. Performs EMR tasks correctly and timely.
- Processes patient referrals timely and follows up to ensure the specialist report or test result is received.
- Works and communicates effectively with all providers. Promotes teamwork. Provides great customer service in person and on the telephone.
- Demonstrates professionalism by articulating and demonstrating professional behavior, accepting responsibility and accountability for actions, adhering to policies and procedures, demonstrating leadership, and supporting UrgentCare2go initiatives.
Responsibilities and Duties
CMA must have a competency for the following tasks
1.) Perform standard CLIA waived tests for example: rapid strep and flu
2.) Phlebotomy skills and have
3.) Experience administering medications IM and oral
Qualifications and Skills
1.) CMA must hold a valid CMA license,
2.) Drivers license
3.) BLS
