Job Purpose

The Zeiss CMM Engineer is responsible for programming, operating, and maintaining ZEISS Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to ensure dimensional accuracy of components and compliance with engineering drawings and quality standards

Key Responsibilities

• Program and operate ZEISS CMM machines using CALYPSO software.
• Perform first article inspection (FAI), in-process, and final inspection of components.
• Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T symbols, and customer specifications.
• Develop and optimize CMM inspection programs for new and existing parts.
• Analyze measurement results and prepare inspection reports.
• Identify measurement deviations and coordinate with production and quality teams.
• Maintain CMM calibration, probe qualification, and machine health checks.
• Support PPAP, APQP, and customer audits when required.
• Ensure compliance with ISO / IATF quality standards.
• Continuous improvement of inspection cycle time and accuracy.

equired Skills & CompetenciesTechnical Skills

• Hands-on experience with ZEISS CMM machines
• Strong knowledge of CALYPSO software
• Good understanding of GD&T (ASME Y14.5 / ISO)
• Experience in precision measurement and metrology
• Knowledge of fixture setup and alignmentEducational Qualification
• Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Production, or related field

Experience Level (Example)

• Junior CMM Engineer: 1–3 years
• Senior CMM Engineer: 4–8 years

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹250,000.00 per month
