CMM Lab Technician

JAC Products is looking for a CMM Lab Technician to join our team in Napoleon, Ohio. In this role, you'll be responsible for the accurate measurement, recording and reporting of all metrology functions.

What You'll Do:

• Schedule lab activities to support layouts and metrology studies as required
• Perform accurate product layouts in accordance with specifications
• Complete thorough documentation and reporting of measurement data
• Develop layout reports to support new program PPAP requirements
• Maintain accurate reporting and organized filing of program data
• Provide support with GD&T interpretation and application as needed
• Coordinate scheduling and calibration of hand tools and measurement equipment
• Distribute metrology results to appropriate personnel.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Knowledge of layout concepts and design equipment using Zeiss Calypso software or similar
• Strong understanding of statistical process control and how to use data to drive decisions.
• Minimum of 1 year of programming CMM
• Calibration experience
• CMM Lab Technician Certification- preferred
