We are seeking a skilled CMM Quality Inspector to join our Operations Department. The role is responsible for performing dimensional inspection of manufactured components using Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM). The role ensures that parts meet engineering drawings, CAD models, and customer specifications by verifying dimensions, geometries, and tolerances.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate CMM equipment to perform first article, in-process, and final inspections.
  • Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T symbols, and CAD data.
  • Conduct dimensional verification using additional manual measuring tools (micrometers, height gauges, calipers, bore gauges, etc.).
  • Record and analyze inspection results in accordance with company quality standards.
  • Create and edit CMM inspection programs using software (e.g., PC-DMIS, Calypso, or similar).
  • Load parts and fixtures on the CMM table ensuring proper alignment and clamping.
  • Calibrate CMM equipment as per schedule and maintain machine accuracy.
  • Generate inspection reports and maintain quality records.
  • Document any deviations, non-conformances, or defects found during inspection.
  • Communicate inspection results to production and engineering teams for corrective action
  • Ensure inspection processes comply with ISO 9001 / API or relevant standards.
Required Qualifications
  • Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field.
  • CMM inspector certification is an added advantage.
  • Experience in
  • Experience in inspecting large components and API 6A,5B products.
  • Strong knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
  • Experience with CMM programming software (e.g., PC-DMIS, Calypso, MODUS, etc.).
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and CAD models.
  • Familiar with ISO/API quality standards.
