Codener is looking for a skilled CMS Developer with hands-on experience in Shopify and WordPress. You will work on client projects including website builds, redesigns, customizations, and performance improvements. This is a long-term remote position for someone who is reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working evening hours.
As a CMS Developer, you will be responsible for the following:
Job Time: Monday to Saturday, 6:00 PM to 3:00 AM (PKT)

Codener is looking for a skilled CMS Developer with hands-on experience in Shopify and WordPress. You will work on client projects including website builds, redesigns, customizations, and performance improvements. This is a long-term remote position for someone who is reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working evening hours.

Working Hours: Monday to Saturday, 6:00 PM to 3:00 AM (PKT)
As a CMS Developer, you will be responsible for the following:
- Develop and customize Shopify and WordPress websites
- Implement themes, plugins, and custom features
- Convert Figma/PSD designs into responsive websites
- Optimize site speed and performance
- Fix bugs and handle ongoing website maintenance
- Collaborate with designers, QA, and project managers

Deliver projects on time with clean, maintainable code
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 2+ year of professional experience with Shopify and WordPress
- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP
- Experience with Shopify themes and Liquid
- Familiar with popular WordPress builders and plugins
- Familiarity with setting up and configuring WordPress environments.
- Demonstrated ability to integrate third-party APIs into WordPress websites.
- Experience with Elementor and other page builders.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with other content management systems (e.g., Drupal, Joomla).
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and principles.
- Familiarity with UX/UI design principles.
- Contributions to open-source WordPress projects.
