Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to join our dynamic healthcare team across all shifts. Duties
- Deliver direct patient care by assisting with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts and other assistive devices.
- Monitor vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature; accurately document findings in electronic health records (EHR) systems such as Cerner or eClinicalWorks.
- Support medication administration under supervision, ensuring proper handling and adherence to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy.
- Assist with specialized care needs including Alzheimer’s/dementia care, memory care, hospice support, and behavioral health interventions.
- Maintain a safe environment by following aseptic techniques during procedures like catheter care and phlebotomy; uphold infection control protocols for infectious disease care.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in acute care settings such as ICU or Level I Trauma Centers, providing critical support in emergency medicine or trauma situations.
- Engage in patient education and emotional support to enhance overall well-being; work with individuals across pediatrics, geriatrics, and patients with developmental disabilities.
Qualifications
- Valid CNA certification or PCA certification required; relevant experience highly preferred.
- Experience working in various healthcare environments including hospitals (ICU, ER), nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or outpatient clinics.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and basic life support (BLS).
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Cerner or eClinicalWorks is a plus.
- Prior experience with specialized care such as Alzheimer’s/dementia/memory care or post-acute/sub-acute settings is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively within a team; compassionate approach to patient care.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks safely; comfort working across all shifts including nights and weekends. Pay: $11.75 - $16.50 per hour
