CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant

Job Summary:
A Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides basic patient care and assists nurses and healthcare staff in hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and other healthcare settings. CNAs support patients with daily activities and help ensure their comfort, safety, and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and eating
  • Help patients move, turn, reposition, and transfer (including use of wheelchairs or walkers)
  • Measure and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, blood pressure, respiration)
  • Observe and report changes in patients’ physical or emotional condition to nursing staff
  • Maintain a clean and safe patient environment (changing bed linens, sanitizing equipment)
  • Assist nurses with basic medical procedures as directed
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
  • Follow infection control and safety procedures at all times
  • Document care provided according to facility policies

Skills & Qualifications:

  • State-approved CNA certification
  • Knowledge of basic patient care and safety practices
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Physical stamina and ability to lift or assist patients
  • Compassion, patience, and attention to detail
  • Ability to work as part of a healthcare team
  • Ability to speak English fluently
  • Keep professional boundaries
  • Reliable transportation

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
