Nursing Assistant Job Description

Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will provide essential support to patients in various settings, ensuring their comfort and well-being. You will work closely with registered nurses and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care to individuals with diverse needs, including those in medical-surgical, critical care, emergency medicine, and behavioral health environments.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
• Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure.
• Help patients with mobility by lifting or transferring them safely as needed.
• Provide support in critical care settings by assisting with patient assessments and interventions.
• Engage with patients in behavioral health settings to promote mental well-being and provide emotional support.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to implement patient care plans effectively.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by adhering to infection control protocols.
• Document patient interactions accurately in medical records and report any changes in condition to nursing staff.

Requirements

• CNA license preferred but not required, we will train. Depending on experience, we will train as MedTech.
• Familiarity with working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus.
• Ability to lift and move patients safely while adhering to proper techniques.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• A compassionate demeanor and commitment to providing excellent patient care.
• Willingness to work every other weekend and every other holiday.

We have all shifts available day, evening and grave shifts.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
