CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant 2nd Shift (2-3 days per week)

About us

We are looking for qualified personnel to join our nursing team, part-time second shift (2p-10p), for 2-3 days per week. Atrium Village is a deficiency free, long-term care facility serving the Hills community and beyond. We are licensed in the State of Iowa for our 20-bed Care Center, with tenured staff to provide compassionate, nurturing care to the aging population. We are not federally funded, therefore do not accept Medicare, Medicaid, or Private Insurances- making us one of two facilities in the state that are private pay only. This payment structure allows Atrium Village to staff well above state and federal standards, ensuring that our residents receive the best care.

Atrium Village also serves the community with our 28 Independent Apartments, which are attached to the same facility as the Care Center. Our Independent residents enjoy many amenities such as; one hot meal per day, linen service, housekeeping service, recreational activities, and fellowship. Atrium Village is proud to offer Mass and Rosary every Tuesday through Friday, in partnership with St. Joseph's Catholic Church.

Details

- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse
- Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding
- Take and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
- Assist with mobility and transfers, using proper lifting techniques
- Observe and report any changes in patient condition to the nursing staff
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a state-approved nursing assistant training program
- Current certification as a nursing assistant (CNA)
- Knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
