As a dual-role Certified Nursing Assistant-Medication Technician (CNA-M), you will perform all standard CNA duties as well as safe, accurate medication administration under the direct supervision of an on-site licensed nurse, acting as a bridge between care and clinical treatment.

Responsibilities:

• Medication Administration:

  • Prepare, administer and accurately document routinely scheduled and PRN non-injectable medications per physician order and facility protocols.

• Clinical Monitoring:

  • Record vital signs, monitor for reactions, and immediately report changes in condition to the supervising nurse.

  • Maintain cleanliness, organize med cart/cabinets, and ensure adherence to state infection control protocols.

• Direct Patient Care:

  • Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living, including bathing, dressing, and dining, and accurately document care provided.

Qualifications:

• Active, and in good standing, Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license on the Maine registry.

• Successful completion of a state-approved Certified Nursing Assistant-Medication training program.

• High school graduate or GED.

• Compassionate, detail-oriented, and a team player.

• Experience working within a nursing home, assisted living, or hospital (preferred).

Schedule:

• Per Diem hours available.
