<Job Summary>
We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented CNAs to join our healthcare team in Willow Wing, our new dementia unit opening in May 2026. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in patient care, with experience across various healthcare settings, including dementia care. Free Med Tech training will be provided. As a caregiver, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality medical assistance, supporting patient well-being, and elevating quality of life for our residents.

<Responsibilities>

  • Provide direct resident care by assisting with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts.
  • Administer medications accurately under supervision, following established protocols and maintaining detailed medical documentation.
  • Monitor vital signs and observe residents for any changes in condition, reporting findings promptly to nursing staff.
  • Support residents with specialized needs including Alzheimer's care, memory care, dementia care, and behavioral health interventions.
  • Document resident information accurately within electronic health record (EHR) system.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams across facility to ensure comprehensive resident service.

<Skills>

  • Proven experience working with individuals with dementia.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA regulations related to patient privacy.
  • Familiarity with Electronic Medical records
  • Experience in various healthcare environments and with dementia patients.
  • Skills in medication administration and vital signs monitoring with attention to detail and safety protocols desired, but we will train the right person
  • Ability to use medical equipment like Hoyer lifts safely and effectively.
  • Strong caregiving skills tailored for geriatrics

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
