CNA - Senior Care (Night Shift) - Full Time

Note: This is a full-time night shift position with a fixed schedule.

About The Role:

We are seeking experienced Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide care in a private residential setting for an elderly client. This is a full-time position with a consistent 12-hour schedule. Each shift is supported by a two person CNA team to ensure comprehensive care and coverage.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical skills along with compassion, patience, sound judgment, and a proactive approach to care. The residence is fully supported by an on-site LVN/House Manager, security personnel, and housekeeping staff, allowing CNAs to focus on delivering high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

· Provide basic patient care, including taking vital signs, collecting specimens, and assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs).

· Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transfers, and ambulation as needed.

· Offer companionship and appropriate engagement during meals and daily routines.

· Accurately document care provided and promptly report any changes or concerns to the on-site LVN.

· Maintain compliance with all safety, infection control, and COVID-related protocols.

· Demonstrate reliability by reporting to work on time and working assigned shifts as scheduled; absences should occur only when necessary.

· Adapt to changing priorities and respond appropriately to evolving care needs.

· Remain calm and professional when handling routine matters, conflicts, or emergency situations.

· Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, sound judgment, and a proactive work ethic.

· Perform light housekeeping duties, including dishwashing and managing soiled linens or clothing for laundry or dry cleaning.

Requirements:

CNA License – Active

Education – High School or equivalent

Experience – 6 months of experience as a CNA. Preferred experience with older adults.

Background Check – Pass a rigorous background check and sign an Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) as a condition of employment.

Vaccinations – Have and maintain yearly COVID and Flu vaccinations.

HIPAA & NDA – Adhere to all HIPAA guidelines and the Non-Disclosure Agreement.

Physical Requirements – This position requires the ability to safely lift and assist patients, as well as handle medical equipment as needed. The role involves sustained physical activity, including standing, bending, kneeling, crouching, pushing, pulling, and reaching throughout the shift. The employee must be capable of assisting with wheelchair transfers and other mobility-related tasks. Candidates must also meet the physical and mental health standards necessary to perform all duties safely and effectively.
