CNA UNIT MANAGER / SCHEDULER, Generations at Oakton Pavillion, Des Plaines, IL

Generations at Oakton Pavillion has an Opening for a CNA Unit Manager/Scheduler. This is a Full Time Role with a Salary of between $50k and $52k, Depending upon Experience.

Monday-Friday, Daytime Schedule ~WILL BE ON CALL~

Must be a Current CNA(Certified Nursing Assistant)

*Scheduling and Supervisory Experience Required*

Responsibilities of the CNA Unit Manager/Sheduler:

• CNA Scheduling, all shifts
• Supervise and provide staff support for other CNAs
• Review CNA documentation for accuracy
• Provide In-service for CNAs on protocols as necessary
• Attend daily staff meetings to ensure accurate transfer of information
• Maintain a Unit Manager-specific Communication Log
• Communicate with Director of Nursing regarding changes in resident needs
• Perform QA rounds
• Welcome all new patients and family members

Requirements:

of the CNA Unit Manager/Scheduler:

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), currently licensed in the State of Illinois
• Scheduling and supervisory experience in a LTC environment required
• Block scheduling experience and familiarity with On Shift highly desirable
• Knowledge of JCAHO, OBRA, IDPH and HFS regulations
• Strong organizational skills
• Must be able to work well independently
• Must be committed to providing highest quality nursing care for older adults
