CNA/CAREGIVER NEEDED

Job Description

Needing an experienced, confident CNA that is self directed and efficient. Must be very detailed AND able to multi-task.

Avenues Home Care is committed to giving high quality care to our clients and their families. We are looking for experienced CNA's/Caregivers who have a passion for helping others. We aid with activities of daily living (ADL'S), and other tasks such as personal care, dressing, bathing, toileting, light housekeeping, pet care, meal preparation and companionship. We provide routine individualized care to the elderly or persons with disabilities at the client's home or in a care facility. We have shifts available mornings, evenings and overnights. We are looking for candidates who are flexible with schedules and willing to work. Training is available and offered on site if needed. Experienced Caregivers and CNA’s are encouraged to apply.

Job Requirements

• Experience as a caregiver is required (1-2 years).
• Must have a Valid driver’s license and valid auto insurance, with reliable transportation
• Must pass a criminal background check.
• Monitor or report changes in client’s health status to Supervisor.
• Must be able to provide clients with help transferring in and out of beds, baths, wheelchairs, or automobiles.
• Must be able to care for client by changing bed linens, washing and ironing laundry, cleaning, or assisting with their personal care
• Must be willing to engage in activities
• Be able to plan, purchase, prepare, or serve meals to patients.
• Must be able to accompany clients to doctors' offices or on other trips outside the home, providing transportation, assistance, and companionship.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. or more if needed.
