Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Technician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care across various settings, including acute care, outpatient services, and urgent care. The Medical Technician will be responsible for performing diagnostic tests, assisting with patient assessments, and ensuring the smooth operation of medical equipment. This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Conduct diagnostic tests and procedures as directed by healthcare professionals.
• Assist in the preparation and administration of medications and treatments.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Operate and maintain medical equipment, ensuring proper functionality and safety.
• Provide exceptional patient service by addressing inquiries and concerns with empathy and professionalism.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care outcomes.
• Support caregiving activities for patients in various settings, including ICU and behavioral health environments.
• Stay updated on medical terminology, procedures, and best practices to ensure effective communication within the healthcare team.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a medical technician role or related field is preferred.
• Knowledge of DME (Durable Medical Equipment) is an advantage.
• Familiarity with acute care, outpatient services, urgent care, hospital medicine, ICU practices, and behavioral health is desirable.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols accurately.
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients and healthcare staff.
• Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a compassionate approach to patient care.
• Certification or relevant training in medical technology or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
