CNA/Med Tech prn fill-in shifts (SouthPark Charlotte)

Join our dynamic team as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and Medication Technician (Med Tech) during the night shift!

Location: Charlotte - SouthPark

CNA experience taking care of the elderly is required

Must have reliable transportation

Must have current TB results

Must have CPR cert

In this vital role, you will provide compassionate care to our residents, ensuring their comfort and well-being while also assisting with medication administration. Your dedication will make a significant difference in the lives of those you serve.

What you’ll do

• Deliver exceptional personal care to residents, including assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Meal Preparation, cooking and serving
• Administer medications accurately and safely while adhering to established protocols and regulations.
• Monitor residents’ vital signs and report any changes in their condition to the nursing staff promptly.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Assist in the implementation of infection control measures and ensure a clean, safe environment for all residents.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, fostering a nurturing atmosphere.

Basic qualifications

• Certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) and Medication Aide (Med Tech).
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is preferred.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience in long-term care settings such as assisted living or nursing homes.
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
• Experience with Memory Care
