CNAs AND RSAs- SECOND AND THIRD SHIFTS

Thornton Heights Terrace, a Specialized Mental Health Rehabilitation Facility, has current job opportunities for those interested in serving this special population. Our "one size does not fit all" philosophy insures that our 210 ambulatory adults with a history of mental illness receive Recovery oriented services best suited to their individual strengths and needs.
We are currently looking for Rehabilitative Services Associates (RSA's) and/or CNA's to work on the floors engaging directly with the residents. Among the responsibilities of the RSA staff are to assist residents with activities of daily living (for example, oral hygiene, shaving, dressing, bathing and room upkeep), measure and record resident vital signs, monitor resident attendance and intake at meal times, to assist the nursing staff with ensuring all residents go to their appropriate medication pass time and to facilitate activity groups.
ALL APPLICANTS FOR THIS POSITION MUST HAVE:
-A HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA OR GED.
-DEMONSTRATED SKILLS IN WORKING WITH THE MENTALLY ILL
-DEMONSTRATED THE ABILITY TO WORK CONSTRUCTIVELY WITH CONSUMERS.
There are openings on second shift (3-11:30pm) and third shift 11pm-7:30am. You must be available for weekends as their is a "rotating" schedule with every third weekend off.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $18.50 per hour
