CNC DESIGNER Job Description
Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Designer and Operator to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced manufacturing facility where we make bunkbeds, props, and other home decor for Airbnb's. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in CNC and CAM programming, with a keen eye for quality control and mechanical knowledge.
Duties
- Proficiency in Adobe CS
- Graphic Design
- Vector and 3D based design
- Woodworking
- Carpentry
- Structural
- Paint
- Finish work
- Develop and optimize CNC programs for various machining operations.
- Design bunk beds and accessories for kids rooms and game rooms in Airbnb's
- Utilize calipers and other measuring tools to verify dimensions and tolerances.
- Collaborate with engineers and production staff to troubleshoot issues related to programming or machining processes.
- Maintain and update documentation related to CNC programs and machine setups.
- Operate hand tools and forklifts as necessary for setup and maintenance tasks.
- Ensure the workspace is organized, safe, and compliant with industry standards.
Requirements
- DESIGN BACKGROUND: GRAPHIC, INDUSTRIAL, ERGONOMIC, ETC
- DESIGN SOFTWARE PROFICIENTCY: ADOBE SUITE, V-CARVE, AUTODESK/AUTOCAD
- EXPERIENCE WITH SHOPBOT PRS, ALPHA ATC, OR ANY G-CODE LARGE FORMAT CNC ROUTER FOR WOODWORK
- GENERAL TRADE REQUIREMENTS (MINIMUM 5 YRS): CARPENTRY, FINISH WORK, SCENIC, FRAMING, WOODWORKING, TOOLS, RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION TO WORK.
