What you'll be doing

• Operating a Horizontal Dual-Pallet Mill with FANUC controls, running production and one-off jobs
• Performing first-article, in-process, and final dimensional inspection to print
• Setting up multiple operations across a variety of part families — changeovers are frequent
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, including GD&T callouts
• Maintaining tool offsets, monitoring wear, and making compensating adjustments
• Participating in daily 3S and contributing improvement ideas — this is expected of every team member
• Communicating clearly with lead machinists and production management when issues arise

Requirements

Horizontal Mill Experience 5+ years FANUC Controls 3+ years hands-on, Job Shop Environment 3+ years

• Demonstrated experience running FANUC-controlled horizontal machining centers — this is non-negotiable
• Positive attitude with genuine commitment to quality and team culture — this is equally non-negotiable
• Experience with dual-pallet horizontal mills (Tosnuc control background is a plus)
• Proven ability to machine close-tolerance, one-off work independently
• Comfortable with frequent setup changes across a wide variety of work — this is not a high-volume repeat environment
• Ownership of calibrated personal measurement tools (mics, calipers, indicators)
• High school diploma required; trade school certification or apprenticeship strongly preferred
• Basic familiarity with lean or continuous improvement concepts is a plus — we will teach the rest
