CNC Laser Operator

Job Overview

We are hiring a skilled Laser Operator to run our 6,000-watt fiber laser with a tube cutter, as well as our 20k fiber laser. The operator will be responsible for cutting thin-gauge material up to 1.5 inches thick, including carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and program 6k fiber laser (with tube cutting) and 20k fiber laser systems
• Load and unload material on the cutting tables
• Cut a variety of metals: carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum
• Ensure precision and quality in all cuts
• Set up jobs, adjust parameters, and maintain production schedules
• Perform routine maintenance on laser equipment
• Operate forklift and material handling equipment
• Follow all safety protocols and ensure a clean work environment

Qualifications:

• Previous experience operating fiber lasers
• Proficiency in programming and setting up laser jobs
• Ability to cut a range of materials: carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
