Position Summary:

The Machine Operator will be responsible for setting up, programming adjustments, and operating Fanuc-controlled CNC machinery to manufacture high-precision electrical steel laminations and transformer core components. The role requires hands-on CNC machining expertise, strong knowledge of Fanuc controls, and a commitment to safety, quality, and production efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up, operate, and monitor CNC machines with Fanuc control systems for cutting, punching, and shaping electrical steel laminations.
  • Interpret technical drawings, CAD/CAM files, and work instructions to produce components according to specifications.
  • Load raw materials, adjust offsets, and perform tool changes to ensure precision.
  • Monitor machine operations and make necessary parameter adjustments to maintain tolerances.
  • Conduct in-process inspections using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, gauges).
  • Perform routine machine checks and basic troubleshooting of Fanuc controls.
  • Document production output, downtime, and quality control records accurately.
  • Collaborate with maintenance and quality teams to resolve technical issues.
  • Follow LTEC’s safety, quality, and environmental procedures.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • High school diploma or technical/vocational qualification in CNC machining, mechatronics, or mechanical engineering.
  • 2–3 years’ experience operating CNC machines (metal fabrication or transformer/electrical steel industry preferred).
  • Hands-on experience with Fanuc programming, setup, offsets, and parameter adjustments.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.
  • Skilled in the use of measuring tools (micrometer, caliper, dial gauge).
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Computer literacy for CNC control panels and production reporting.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and overtime when required.
