The successful candidate will be authorized to lawfully work in the United States and will not require visa sponsorship now, or in the future.
- Read drawings and blueprints to create parts from prints, shop drawings and sample parts
- Work with precision using tooling, templates, patterns fittings and hand tools
- Set up and operate lathes, horizontal and vertical mills, drill presses, cutoff saw and grinders
- Perform machining, including layout, drilling, milling turning, cutting and grinding
- Work at close tolerances, read precise measurements and zero-error allowances successfully
- Operate hi-los and overhead cranes to move large or heavy materials
- Deliver parts to other departments in the plant as necessary
- Confer with engineers, production personnel, programmers or others to resolve machining or assembly problems
- Provide verbal and written feedback to appropriate members of the manufacturing group
- Preferred minimum of 1 year of on-the-job CNC Machinist experience
- Able to read blueprints
- Able to attain forklift certification
- Able to attain overhead cranes certification
