Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining CNC machines to produce high-precision components. Duties
- Set up, program and operate XYZ CNC Lathes, ensuring accurate production according to specifications
- Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC equipment to minimise downtime
- Implement tooling changes and optimise machining parameters for efficiency and quality
- Ensure adherence to safety standards
Requirements
- Proven experience in CNC machining, with knowledge of milling, grinding, and associated processes
- Familiarity with programming CNC machines is essential
- Strong understanding of basic mathematics for measurements and calculations in machining tasks
- Good organisational skills with an eye for detail and quality control
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in mechanical engineering or machining are preferred
