CNC Machinist

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining CNC machines to produce high-precision components. Duties

• Set up, program and operate XYZ CNC Lathes, ensuring accurate production according to specifications
• Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC equipment to minimise downtime
• Implement tooling changes and optimise machining parameters for efficiency and quality
• Ensure adherence to safety standards

Requirements

• Proven experience in CNC machining, with knowledge of milling, grinding, and associated processes
• Familiarity with programming CNC machines is essential
• Strong understanding of basic mathematics for measurements and calculations in machining tasks
• Good organisational skills with an eye for detail and quality control
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Relevant qualifications or certifications in mechanical engineering or machining are preferred
