CNC Machinist (EDM – Wire & Sinker) – 3rd Shift

Job Overview

Set up and operate all CNC EDM Machines, Sinker EDM Machines with minimal job instruction.

Operate a variety of CNC and Sinker EDM machines with the capability of maintaining required tolerances, wire EDM could be .0005 or less.

Operate a variety of grinding operations, perform bench work associated with the manufacture of parts.

Must be able to use and read shop measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers (all types), height gauges, dial indictors, pin gauges and soap gauges.

Rework discrepant material to print tolerances.

See that equipment is given proper care, and all preventative maintenance requirements are met. Adhere to good housekeeping practices and prescribed safety precautions and use of proper safety equipment.

Detect and report unusual conditions, defective material or specific problems, give proper care to equipment and report needed repairs.

Performa other duties as assigned or directed, with minimal job instruction.

Instruct others in the duties as required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.08 - $27.89 per hour

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• EMD: 1 year (Preferred)
• CNC EDM Machines: 1 year (Preferred)
• Sinker EDM Machine: 1 year (Preferred)

Shift availability:

• Night Shift (Required)

Ability to Commute:

• Cleveland, OH 44125 (Preferred)
