CNC Machinist (Setup) - 2nd Shift

We’re looking for a CNC machinist with strong hands-on setup experience. This role involves full setups, offsets, and proving out programs in a low volume, high-mix environment—not just operating.

Pay & Schedule

· 2nd Shift: Monday–Thursday, 3:00pm – 1:30am

· Full-time

· Overtime available

· Competitive pay based on experience

What You’ll Do

· Perform full setups on CNC lathes or CNC mills

· Set tooling, adjust offsets, and prove out programs

· Run first articles and make necessary adjustments

· Read and interpret blueprints and GD&T

· Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, and gages

· Troubleshoot machining issues to maintain quality and efficiency

· Maintain a clean and safe work environment

What We’re Looking For

· 5+ years of CNC setup experience (not just operating)

· Experience working in a low volume, high-mix environment

· Ability to read blueprints and understand GD&T

· Experience with cutting jaws

· Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail

· Ability to work independently and take ownership of quality

Preferred:

· Okuma experience

· Multi-axis lathe experience (dual spindle, single turret)

· G & M code knowledge
