What You’ll Do:

As a CNC Machinist at Newell, you’ll be a key player in our precision manufacturing operations. Your day-to-day will include:

• Setting up and operating CNC mills and/or lathes for drilling, milling, grinding, and more.
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Modifying G-code and M-code to optimize machine performance.
• Monitoring operations and making real-time adjustments for quality and efficiency.
• Performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Inspecting parts using micrometers, bore gauges, calipers, and other precision tools.
• (For journey-level machinists) Creating NC programs to meet customer specs.

What You Bring:

• 2+ years of CNC setup and operation or a Technical Certification and 1+ year of hands-on experience
• Proficiency with G & M code
• Experience with CAD/CAM software (Mastercam, NX, or FeatureCAM preferred) a plus
• A sharp eye for detail and a passion for quality

Shifts (4-10’s or 3-12's):

• 1st Shift: Monday–Thursday, 5:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
• 2nd Shift: 3:30 p.m. - 2:00 a.m., Monday-Thursday
• Weekend Shift: 6:00 a.m. – 6:30 p.m., Friday-Sunday

Pay: $25–$45/hr. (plus shift differential for 2nd and weekend shifts)
