NAECO, LLC, a growing manufacturing company located in Peachtree City, is a global supplier and manufacturer of precision metal parts for industries including aerospace, Department of Defense, railroad, medical, power grids, industrial controls, etc. We are hiring a CNC Machinist to perform set-ups and light programming in our Vertical Mills department. The shift runs from Monday through Thursday from 5:00am – 3:30pm (four 10 hour days).

Responsibilities:
· Plans machining from blueprints and engineering plans, determining optimal sequence of operations, calculate requirements and quote cycle times, interpret geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T)
· Sets up and operates CNC vertical mills and machine tools to produce parts; make tooling adjustments, tool selections, CNC multi-axis milling (4 axis/5 axis)
· Light programming using CAD/CAM software (Fusion 360)
· Design and make holding fixtures
· Inspect parts using measuring equipment
· Applies knowledge of mathematics and instruments to calculate dimensions and tolerances.
· Provide input on innovative manufacturing solutions that lead to increased ROI
· Perform preventive and general maintenance on machines and troubleshoot malfunctions, taking corrective actions to control machining processes
Qualifications:
· 4+ years CNC set up experience
· 2-3 years of strong experience using CAD/CAM software for CNC Vertical Mill parts - Part Maker a plus; strong experience with G-Code
· Experience in tool changes, fixturing, and machine maintenance
· Strong ability to read blue prints/drawings
· Experience in the use of inspection and measuring equipment including micrometers, calipers, and optical comparator
· Knowledge of a variety of metal materials and their machinability
· Exceptional mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
· Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety
