Role Description
The ideal candidate will be responsible for programming and operating CNC Milling machines to produce precision components. This role requires a strong understanding of CAD software, tooling, and materials handling. The CNC Miller will play a crucial role in ensuring high-quality production standards and efficiency.
Qualifications

Strong experience as a CNC miller – in programming, setting and operating

Proficient in Fanuc controls is ideal

Experience with (or willingness to learn) OneCNC CAD/CAM
-
Ability to create and interpret Technical Drawings

Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Competence in using hand tools and basic tooling knowledge is essential
Duties

Develop and optimise CNC programmes for milling and other machining processes using CAD software

Operate CNC machines, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards

Conduct materials handling and manage tooling efficiently to maintain workflow
-
Troubleshoot issues with programmable logic controllers and machinery during production runs

Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance productivity
