CNC Miller (Programmer)

Role Description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for programming and operating CNC Milling machines to produce precision components. This role requires a strong understanding of CAD software, tooling, and materials handling. The CNC Miller will play a crucial role in ensuring high-quality production standards and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Strong experience as a CNC miller – in programming, setting and operating
• Proficient in Fanuc controls is ideal
• Experience with (or willingness to learn) OneCNC CAD/CAM
• Ability to create and interpret Technical Drawings
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Competence in using hand tools and basic tooling knowledge is essential

Duties

• Develop and optimise CNC programmes for milling and other machining processes using CAD software
• Operate CNC machines, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards
• Conduct materials handling and manage tooling efficiently to maintain workflow
• Troubleshoot issues with programmable logic controllers and machinery during production runs
• Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance productivity
