CNC Milling Machine Operator (Zagre, Croatia)

Key Responsibilities

• Setup and Operation: Prepare, configure, and operate CNC milling machines to produce parts within strict tolerances.
• Blueprint Interpretation: Read, analyze, and interpret complex technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD/CAM data to determine dimensions and specifications.
• Programming/Offsetting: Input or adjust CNC machine code (G-code/M-code) and set tool geometry and work offsets.
• Tooling: Change cutting tools, tool holders, and fixtures as needed for different production runs.
• Quality Inspection: Measure completed workpieces using precision tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges) to ensure adherence to specifications.
• Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on machines, such as cleaning, lubricating, and replacing coolant, to ensure functionality.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations, including wearing protective equipment and maintaining a clean work area.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Experience: Proven experience operating CNC milling machinery.
• Technical Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude, proficiency in reading blueprints, and familiarity with precision measurement tools.
• Math Skills: Good mathematical skills for calculating dimensions and offsets.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; a certificate or diploma in engineering or a relevant field is preferred.
• Attention to Detail: High level of focus to prevent errors and ensure high-quality, precise outputs.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy materials.
