CNC Milling Machining Center Operator & Programmer / Mold Maker

Job Overview

We are hiring a skilled CNC Milling Machining Center Operator & Programmer / Mold Maker to support in-house production of precision parts and molds. This role is ideal for someone with strong practical experience in CNC milling operations, programming, and mold manufacturing, capable of working independently from drawings to finished components.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate CNC Milling Machining Centers efficiently and safely
• Program CNC machines using G-code / CAM software
• Manufacture and assemble molds, dies, and precision components
• Interpret technical drawings, CAD files, and tolerances
• Select tools, set offsets, and perform machine setups
• Conduct trial runs, measurements, and quality inspections
• Maintain machines, tools, and work area
• Optimize machining processes for accuracy and cycle time

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a CNC Milling Machine Operator & Programmer
• Strong knowledge of mold making (plastic / rubber / industrial molds)
• Hands-on experience with CNC machining centers (3-axis or more)
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and GD&T
• Knowledge of cutting tools, feeds, speeds, and materials
• Experience with precision measurement instruments (vernier, micrometer, gauges)

Preferred

• Experience with CAM software (Mastercam, Fusion 360, PowerMill, etc.)
• Experience with injection mold, compression mold, or die manufacturing
• Ability to troubleshoot machining and tooling issues
• Workshop or production floor management experience
