CNC Milling Programmer/Setter/Operator

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced CNC Milling Programmer/Setter/Operator to join our growing team in Bideford. You will be responsible for programming, setting and operating CNC milling machines to produce high-precision components. This role suits someone who takes pride in their craft and enjoys working in a positive, well-organised environment.

Key Responsibilities :

• Program, Set and operate CNC Milling machines
• Manufacture precision components to tight tolerances
• Interpret engineering drawings and specifications
• Carry out quality checks and maintain production documentation
• Support continuous improvement and problem-solving activities
• Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient workspace

Experience :

• Experience with Hurco, XYZ, or siemens controls (Highly Desirable)
• Completed a full engineering apprenticeship in machining or equivelant experience
• Strong understanding of machining principles, tooling and materials
• Ability to work independiendly and as a part of a close-knit team
• Good communication skills and a proactive approach
