CNC Operator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Operator to join our shipyard team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating CNC machines to produce precision components used in shipbuilding and marine maintenance, ensuring high-quality standards and adherence to safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate CNC machines (lathe, milling, cutting) for marine components

Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions

Monitor machine operations and adjust settings as required

Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC equipment

Ensure all parts meet quality and dimensional specifications

Follow strict safety guidelines and shipyard regulations

Maintain accurate production records and reports

Requirements:

Proven experience as a CNC Operator, preferably in a shipyard or heavy industry

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

Knowledge of CNC programming (basic G-code knowledge preferred)

Familiarity with measuring tools (calipers, micrometers)

Understanding of materials such as steel, aluminum, and marine-grade alloys

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Qualifications:

High school diploma or technical certification in machining or related field

Relevant trade certification is an advantage

Machine operation and setup

Quality control and inspection

Time management

Teamwork and communication

Working Conditions:

Shipyard environment (outdoor and workshop settings)

Ability to work shifts and overtime if required

Physically demanding role (lifting, standing for long periods)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to AED2,000.00 per month
