CNC Operator I- Night shift

JAE IS HIRING FOR CNC MACHINING OPERATOR NIGHT SHIFT

Monday-Wednesday 5:45pm - 6:00am; every other week Mon - Thurs 5:45 pm - 6:00 am

Week 1 - 36 hours
Week 2 - 48 hours

While in training, trainee will be working on the Day shift:

Monday-Wednesday 5:45am - 6:00pm; every other week Mon - Thurs 5:45 am - 6:00 pm

COMPENSATON

$19.00-DOE + 9% shift differential once on assigned shift after training

JOB SCOPE

This position performs recurring tasks in the CNC department with occasional variations, involving a moderate degree of complexity. Work is carried out in accordance with established policies and procedures.

Improper or incorrect setup or operation may result in damage to CNC machinery, leading to lost productivity and increased costs. Additionally, errors may result in damage to other equipment and may pose a risk to workplace safety.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTION

• Operates and monitors CNC machines and processes.
• Provides basic troubleshooting for equipment and processes as necessary.
• Performs basic machine maintenance and pulling scrap.
• Verifies quality by measurement and inspection of samples.
• Actively cleans and organizes equipment and work area to departmental 5S standards.
• Maintains continuity among shifts by documenting and communicating irregularities and resultant actions.
• Interfaces with Quality Assurance, Manufacturing Engineering and Production Control to ensure that product quality and production goals are met.
• Maintains accurate production and equipment operation records.
• Picks, transports and exchanges materials, supplies and parts.
• Recommends departmental improvements.
• Supports and fosters active participation in, and complies with, corporate values as outlined in the Corporate Values and Expectations Handbook.
• Completes on the job and specialized training as required.
• Complies with company and departmental safety policies and practices.

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL DEMANDS
