CNC Operator/Computer Layout

Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented CNC Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining various CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machinery to produce precision parts and components. Your expertise will ensure that production runs smoothly, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. Responsibilities

• Set up CNC machines such as CNC milling machines, and CNC machining centers according to technical specifications and blueprints.
• Program CNC equipment using CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software and adjust programs as needed for optimal performance.
• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibration on CNC machinery to maintain peak operational efficiency.
• Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other quality control tools to verify part dimensions and adherence to specifications.
• Maintain a clean, safe workspace by following safety protocols related to materials handling, tooling, and factory safety standards.
• Collaborate with team members on assembly lines and packaging processes to ensure seamless production flow.

Skills

• Proficiency in CNC programming languages and software such as CabinetVision, SolidWorks, Sketchup and CAD/CAM systems.
• Ability to read complex blueprints and technical drawings with precision measurement tools.
• Basic math skills necessary for measurements, calculations, and quality assessments in manufacturing tasks.
• Strong understanding of quality control standards within a manufacturing facility environment.

Pay: $24.58 - $32.50 per hour
