CNC Press Brake Operator

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented CNC Press Brake Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and setting up press brake machines to bend and shape sheet metal with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will contribute to producing high-quality components for various industries, ensuring that all products meet strict specifications and quality standards. Duties

• Set up and operate CNC-controlled press brake machines to bend sheet metal according to detailed blueprints and technical drawings
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications to ensure accurate fabrication
• Program CNC press brakes using CAD/CAM software or manual input, optimizing machine parameters for precision results
• Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, precision measuring instruments, and quality inspection tools to verify dimensional accuracy
• Maintain machine tooling, perform routine maintenance, and troubleshoot issues promptly to minimize downtime
• Collaborate with fabrication team members on complex projects involving CNC laser cutting, plasma cutting, or other machining processes
• Operate forklifts, cranes, or hand tools as needed for material handling and setup within the manufacturing environment

Skills

• Proficiency in CNC programming and operation of press brake machines with a strong understanding of mechanical principles
• Knowledge of blueprint reading, GD&T standards, and fabrication techniques for sheet metal components
• Ability to use hand tools such as calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments accurately
• Mechanical knowledge of tooling setup, maintenance procedures, and machining processes
• Familiarity with welding techniques and assembly processes for fabricated parts
• Basic math skills for calculating dimensions, tolerances, and material requirements
• Ability to operate forklifts, cranes, or other material handling equipment safely in a manufacturing setting

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
