SCHUNK advances automation, clamping technology, and precision engineering around the globe. We’re driven by a love of technology and the belief that today’s ingenuity shapes tomorrow’s manufacturing. Quality is our signature, and we strive to get better as a team every day.
You start on the shop floor, shoulder-to-shoulder with machinists, reviewing overnight runs and uptime metrics. By mid-morning you’re in the CAM suite, validating toolpaths, simulating complex features, and standardizing methods for repeatability. After lunch, you collaborate with design and quality engineers to fine-tune process capability and implement engineering changes. You close the day by updating documentation, managing tooling strategies in the tool management system, and preparing programs for an upcoming NPI ramp.
