Experience

3–4 Years (Relevant CNC Programming & Machining Experience)

Job Responsibilities

• Develop, modify, and optimize CNC programs for milling, turning, and multi-axis machines.
• Create efficient tool paths using Delcam (PowerMILL / PowerSHAPE) and other CAD-CAM software.
• Select appropriate cutting tools, feeds, speeds, and machining strategies to ensure accuracy and productivity.
• Perform program prove-out, first-off inspection, and cycle time optimization.

2. Drawing Interpretation & CAD Work

• Read, understand, and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and 3D models.
• Convert 2D drawings to 3D models where required for CNC programming.
• Coordinate with design and production teams to clarify drawing or tolerance issues.

Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of CNC programming (G-code & CAM-based programming)
• Proficient in Delcam (PowerMILL / PowerSHAPE / FeatureCAM)
• Experience with 3-axis, 4-axis, and/or 5-axis CNC machines
• Good understanding of materials (steel, stainless steel, aluminum, cast iron, etc.)
• Ability to read and interpret complex mechanical drawings

Preferred Qualifications

• Diploma / ITI / Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Tool & Die
• Experience in job-shop or production machining environments
