CNC Programmer/Setter/Operator- Back Shift

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer/Setter/Operator for the back shift to join our manufacturing team in the fastener industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines to produce high-quality components. The position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience in machining and materials handling to contribute to a dynamic production environment.

Responsibilities

1. To program, set & operate CNC machinery

2. Ensure the S.T.A.R.T values are adhered to.

3. To operate CNC machines with Fanuc controls

4. To work to customer drawings and specifications with the minimum of supervision following training

5. To work to tight tolerances and check your own work

6. To work on your own initiative and understand the manufacturing processes

7. Report any tooling required to Supervisor

8. Prove out programs at the machine ensuring the highest quality is maintained at all times

9. Keep a clean and manageable working area

10. Fulfil training programs deemed necessary to allow efficient performance of duties and assist in your personal development

11. To take a responsible approach to health, safety and environmental risks in relation to your own job role and to control the risks or report them to management as appropriate

Any other duties as required, commensurate with job position
