Position Overview:
We are a growing CNC Machining business looking for the right individual to support our expanding business with a recent addition (doubling our capacity). The right individual has a strong technical acumen having worked hands-on in a machining environment, setting up and running CNC milling and lathe machines. A strong team and quality oriented mind-set is just as important.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- As part of a team, work to achieve production, quality and schedule goals.
- Run CNC machines, monitor running products to produce quality products and insure a successful production run.
- Set-up and prove out/edit CNC programs.
- Provide quality checks utilizing inspection equipment and quality measuring tools.
- Document inspected parts in a neat manner for required quality and customer documentation.
- Growth opportunities as business grows.
- Maintain a safe work environment; identifying improvement areas to anticipate and eliminate hazards
- Maintain a positive, performance-oriented team culture
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:
- 2+ years of previous CNC machining experience
- Previous lathe experience a plus
- Previous set-up experience required
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as percentages, area, circumference and apply concepts of basic math.
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Strong attention to detail, especially when inspecting products
- Must be dependable and willing to work overtime when needed
- Must be able to pass background screen
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Must be able to sit and stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to carry approx. 30 pounds at times
